LAFERIA goes to the European Conference for More Insect Protection and Biodiversity at Landscape Level
The European Conference for More Insect Protection and Biodiversity at Landscape Level, which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, on 20 May 2025, focused on advancing biodiversity and insect conservation through a landscape-level approach, highlighting the importance of cross-sector collaboration, innovative agricultural practices, and stronger municipal engagement.
LAFERIA representatives from UFZ attended the event where they delivered a presentation on the project and its German case study - the land procurement system in Leipzig, to an audience of around 30 participants across target audiences such as land-users, policy makers, researchers, administration, and civil society.
The meeting equally presented an opportunity for networking, with participants’ interest hinting at potential strategic partnerships in the future.
