LAFERIA presented in Brussels on the joint benefits of the CAP reform and NRR

On 11 November 2025, LAFERIA joined an event in Brussels to discuss the future of European farming. Our team shared a new vision for how the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the Nature Restoration Regulation (NRR) can work together to help farmers and the planet.

We met with high-level decision makers at a critical moment. As new farming rules are being decided, it is more important than ever to show that nature and food production can thrive side by side.

The event highlighted how adding small natural areas - like hedges, trees, and ponds - back into intensive farmland can benefit everyone - farmers, society, and the environment as a whole.

Participating in the event was not only about sharing research but also about building a network of farmers, policy makers, and scientists to work towards practical solutions. Our goal is to make sure these new environmental rules are easy for farmers to use and lead to a positive future for rural areas by 2030 and beyond. ✨
