This Austrian project empowers farmers by involving them directly in biodiversity monitoring on their land. Through close cooperation with ecologists, farmers learn to observe and document species in grasslands, field margins, and flower strips. This participatory approach increases awareness and motivation for implementing and maintaining biodiversity-friendly landscape features.
