The Ecovitis project focused on restoring biodiversity in the terraced vineyards of Portugal's Douro UNESCO World Heritage site. By reintroducing landscape features like vegetation cover and hedgerows, the project studied how to enhance ecosystem services, particularly natural pest control, within this culturally significant and intensive viticultural landscape.
