This transnational INTERREG project (2006-2008) focused on protecting historical cultural landscapes to strengthen regional identities and economies across Central and Eastern Europe. It involved various pilot actions, from developing regional landscape protection concepts to supporting agri-environment schemes that reward farmers for maintaining cultural and natural heritage.
