At the Logården research farm in Sweden, English-style hedgerows were established in the 1990s as part of an integrated farming system. These diverse woody shelterbelts, combined with grassy strips, were designed to provide multiple benefits, including wind protection, habitat for beneficial insects, and cover for wildlife.
