This recent Bulgarian initiative, led by the National Grain Producers Association, uses a novel crowdfunding model to restore tree windbreaks in the Dobrudzha region. A portion of the fee for their annual conference is allocated to financing the establishment and four-year maintenance of shelterbelts on agricultural land.
