This project in Dalarna, Sweden, created a wetland on a wet grassland area adjacent to a lake. The feature provides multiple benefits: it enhances bird biodiversity, captures nutrients from surrounding farmland, improves landscape water retention and groundwater levels, and supports irrigation for nearby farms.
