In Western Uusimaa, WWF Finland collaborates with landowners to restore wet landscape features for water protection and biodiversity. Through a series of successful projects, they create wetlands, construct two-stage ditches with floodplains on agricultural land, and restore the natural meandering of streams to reduce nutrient runoff into the Baltic Sea.
