The German case study held its second inception workshop in Leipzig, Germany, on 20 May 2026. The event was organised by UFZ with the involvement of IEEP. It targeted regional administrations, NGOs, agricultural chambers, and extension services.

Out of 16 people who registered, 14 attended the interactive workshop! The project team presented LAFERIA, its goals, structure, and activities, and the current European Union policy trends with implications for the restoration of landscape features (LF).

The audience was very positive about the session, and all participants want to be kept informed on the progress of the project as well as on all future events. Follow-up activities are already being planned with some attendees, while two of them also joined the LAFERIA Stakeholder Community!

The event contributed to LAFERIA becoming known at the local level, which indirectly eases future work and establishes a very good basis for future stakeholder activities.
